Vanilla Crescent Cookies 


Ingredients:
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup finely ground almonds or almond flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• Powdered sugar for dusting
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
o Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
o Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream the Butter and Sugar:
o In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
o Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
3. Combine Dry Ingredients:
o In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ground almonds, and salt.
o Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
4. Shape the Cookies:
o Take small portions of the dough and shape them into crescents.
o Place the crescents onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
5. Bake:
o Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
o Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
6. Dust with Powdered Sugar:
o Once the cookies are completely cooled, generously dust them with powdered sugar.
