Honda is bringing back the iconic Prelude as a hybrid coupe for the U.S. market in late 2025. The first Prelude debuted in 1978, and the new model will feature the S+ Shift for sharper gear shifts and a more dynamic driving experience.

The hybrid Prelude made its debut at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show and was shown in North America at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Estimated to cost between $31,000 and $38,000, the new Prelude is part of Honda's goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
